Background in 2016 BC. A farmer named Sarman (Hrithik Roshan), goes towards Mohenjo Daro, a huge ancient city on the river Indus. Arriving in town, he inadvertently involved in an accident, and managed to save a girl named Chaani (Pooja Hegde), the woman who was asked as a symbol of the blessing of the Goddess River. But not long after, Sarman be confronted with an intrigue that is run by a politician named Maham (Kabir Bedi), and his son Moonja (Arunoday Singh), who intends to seize control of the city of Mohenjo Daro. Sarman had to fight to save the townspeople, and won the hearts of Chaani.
